This crane truck was set up for a company in Waiheke who required a larger crane with more reach. The added challenge was to include the deck as a separate fixture to the crane subframe, and integrate container twistlocks with the stabiliser leg beams. By separating the deck from the subframe, the crane hydraulics can be serviced easily, and the deck can easily be transferred to a new truck in the future.
We also fitted a Sokoza special – 24v actuator powered tilt on the cab protector to allow the cab to be tilted easily.
Other features included are steps with hand rails, stanchions and holder, dunnage box at the rear, open chain boxes in between the rear axles and a ladder holder against the headboard
